Most people think a Doctor’s office and a Burlesque stage are worlds apart. To me, they are so much more alike than they are different: they are both spaces where we learn to truly inhabit our skin.

As a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, Licensed Esthetician, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and Empowerment Speaker, I spent years studying the blueprints of wellness, hormones, gut health, skin, nutrition, and all the intricate systems that make you, you.
I recieved my Doctorate at Pacific College of Health and Science, my Master's Degree at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and my Bachelor's Degree in Community Health Education from Portland State University.

As I crafted and embodied my burlesque persona Mae D’Lovely, I learned more than I ever thought I would about the emotional blueprint of confidence. I realized that true beauty and wellness isn’t about finding flaws and "fixing" them, it’s about removing the “invisible costume” of stress, diet culture, and external expectations that keep us from our own spotlight.
